In today’s blog, Black Cat Records and Comics in Dallas, TX, is looking at a few new additions to our store, and inviting you to stop by soon and visit. We’re open six days a week, after all!
Comics and Manga
We have curated an epic selection of comic books and manga. You can find the latest titles from giants like DC and Marvel, but plenty of indie titles and foreign prints too! Not to mention the long boxes filled with back issues, and the decades of manga storylines to choose from. We recently added some great spooky treads to our selection just in time for Halloween. You can pick up Stuff of Nightmares by RL Stine, the latest Creepshow issue, Parasomnia #2, Frankenstein: New World #2, and the latest Elvira issue! If you really want something to keep you busy, we have deluxe editions, omnibuses, and absolute editions of Harley Quinn Rebirth, Justice, Superman Rebirth, Absolute Flashpoint, Invisibles Omnibus, and the Amanda Conner Harley Quinn Omnibus!
Records
Our record selection spans tons of genres and decades of music, and we even have turntables available for purchase to get you started. We’ve added some new metal selections, with Bulldozer’s The Day of Wrath, Plague Eater by Nekkromaniac, Nocte Obducta’s Irrlicht LE #58, and Those Who Hunt At Night by Savage Master.
We’ve also added some new releases from Japan, like Midori Takada’s Cutting Branches for a Temporary Shelter and You Who Are Leaving Nirvana by Midori Takada and Shomyo of Koy. You can also pick up Yuga’s Kotoba No Nai Yoruni.

If you have any questions about selection, then give us a call or visit us from Tuesday through Sunday. We’re closed Monday, but vinyl shoppers can make an appointment for that day.

Our store is currently open from Tuesday through Thursday, 11am until 7pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11am until 9pm. We’re open Sundays from noon until 6pm.
